PowerMaster SBG P1500 Arm Barrier Openers or Barrier Operators
The operator housing shall be weatherproof, with removable side and top with a key to prevent unauthorized entry. Housing construction to be from
sheet steel, of not less than 12 gauge. All seams to be electric bead welded. Paint finish shall be baked enamel over primer.
Motor to be 1/2 HP, 115 Vac, 1Ø, reversing duty type. Motor shall be instantly reversible with built in overload protection. Motor shall be resiliently
mounted for quiet operation.
Gearbox to consist of a bronze worm gear in oil bath running in roller bearings. A torque limiting clutch shall be provided on gearbox to prevent
overloading of drive mechanism. A secondary reduction shaft shall directly operate limit switches.
Secondary shaft shall be driven by heavy duty #50 roller chain and sprockets. Final drive shaft shall be minimum 1-1/4" diameter steel supported by
heavy duty roller bearings.
Electrical assembly shall consist of a full voltage across the line motor controller. A transformer shall be provided to provide control circuit power
auxiliary control equipment. Control circuit to be class II, not to exceed 24 volts. Control circuit to provide for full functions and to accept radio
controls, loop detectors, auto close timers and all types of access controls without additional modifications. Special loop detector control circuit
shall be provided that allows for various control functions without the need for specialized detectors. A pre-wired terminal strip shall be provided for
field connections.
An on/off power-switch and an open/close switch shall be provided on operator control panel for local operation and set-up.
Gate consists of an articulating arm for garages with low clearances.
