Elite SOLAR3 - Manufactured by Elite specifically for Elite gate operators. Operators are normally powered by a transformer/battery system. For areas where the transformer is not practical, such as remote areas where running a low voltage wire or AC outlet is not possible, the alternative is to power the operators using these solar panels. The SOLAR3 is an optional non-breakable 64 watt/16.5V solar panel used to charge the batteries that power the elite operators. Requires the ASOLARADP DC solar power adapter for the Miracle operators. Simply plug in the adapter into the existing electronic control box. No other modifications are necessary. The RoboSwing and RoboSlide operators don't require the adapter. Panel measures 29.16" x 53.78". Naturally, this panel has to be mounted in a location that receives direct sunlight for most of the day to function properly. Low power consumption devices should be used when powered by a solar panel. Choose your accessories wisely when using this type of system. Also, the larger 30 amp hour battery manufactured by Elite is recommended when using solar panels. This larger battery will provide more reserve power for increased cycles. This battery can be found
