Design features and manufactured specifications
Some of the standard features include:
fail-safe / fail-secure clutch mechanism, simple limit switch arrangement, clam shell cover
design, 120/220 VAC single phase power source, built in three
push button station, built in battery backup capable of 100
cycles in case of power failure, on-board lightning protection,
and soft-start / soft-stop with intelligent obstruction detection.
A. Extreme Power and Efficiency
- This gate operator provides up to 1 HP of
torque for heavy swing gate operation.
The power of the T-21™ is complimented
by it’s helical bevel gear head motor,
making this gate operator a very efficient,
powerful access control solution.
B. High Output Battery Backup -
The T-21™ is efficient at very high
torques, demanding a high output battery
back up system. Standard on this machine
is a 7AHr battery to meet this demand.
This enables the T-21™ to operate up to
100 cycles in case of a power failure.
C. Modular Power Supply -
Another feature of the T-21 is the convenient modular
power supply. The modular power supply includes
protection against lightning strikes, electromagnetic
filters, power service outlets and power switches.
The various protections on this module increase the
immunity of the gate operator to external events and
also increase the reliability of the operator itself.
